A top British private school is looking for a boy or girl, age 13 to 18, with the last name of Peyton.

A former Brighton College student with that name left hundreds of thousands of dollars to the school with the stipulation that a namesake be found and given a free education.

The successful applicant must have Peyton as his or her last name, spelled the same way and a birth certificate to prove it. Hyphenated last names are not acceptable.

All 600 Peytons in England have been contacted, but no candidates have been found.

Now, school officials are looking abroad. They’re even looking to Indianapolis Colts quarterback Peyton Manning for leads.
