University Bridge Club announces the winners of its June 17 game. Hosts were Carolyn and Paul Jordan and Edna and Karmie Galle.

Blue winners were: Harold Riehm, first; George Bocquin, second; John Golden, third; Jean Khatib, fourth; and Tom Waller, fifth.

Pink winners were: Carolyn Jordan and Edna Galle, tie for first; Wanda Kring, second; Myrna Ikenberry, third; Lois Liebert, fourth; and Carol Smith, fifth.

The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at six and a half tables on June 14. The game was directed by Virginia Seaver. At North-South, Patt Radford and Chuck Hedges won first in A, followed by Ed Howard and Grant Sutton winning second. Julia Brooks and Chris Lane won third in A. Betty Spalsbury and Martie Hartman won first in B and C, and Harriett Olson and Bobbie Figgins won second in both strata.

Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro won first in A at East-West. Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges won second in A. Cathy Blumenfeld and Lois Clark won third in A and first in B and C. Mona Bell and Carol Ball won second in B and C.

The Wednesday Evening Bridge Club’s June 14 game was directed by Don Brennaman. Three and a half tables played a stratified Howell movement. Barbara and Bill Hamilton won first in A and B. Albert Ballard and Jeff Rees won second in both strata, and Bobby and Elle Patton won third.

The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club played nine and a half tables in a stratified Mitchell movement. The June 16 game was directed by Don Brennaman. Clyde Romer and Kent McCullough won first in A and B playing North-South. Patt Radford and Sally Taylor won second in A, followed by Dianne Childs and Polly Schoning who won third in A and second in B. Lois Clark and Betty Collier won first in C.

At East-West, Grant Sutton and Vince Russo won first in A, and Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro won second. Virginia Seaver and Yvonne Hedges won third. Bob Dailey and Glen Hadaway won first in B and C. Linda Schottler and Judy Hildreth won second in B, and Madelyn Jenks and Mona Bell won third in B and second in C.

The Kaw Valley Bridge Club played host to a Unit Game on June 17 and had its annual election for the board of directors. Virginia Seaver directed 14 tables in a stratified Mitchell movement. John Hickey and Patt Radford won first in A and B playing North-South, and Lois Jones and Jeff Nash won second in both strata. Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges won third in A and B. Jo Andersen and Alice Leitch won first in C, followed by Martie Hartman and Pat Burgstahler who won second in C.

Jeanne Landry and Lynn Hui won first in A playing East-West. Jerry Sloan and Lois Clark won first in B and second in A, followed by Grant Sutton and Don Brennaman who won third in A and second in B. Barbara Merriam and Dorothy Netson won first in C, and Dixie Nicholson and Virginia Hamilton won second in C.

The Monday Evening Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at nine and a half tables directed by Virginia Seaver. At North-South, Madelyn Jenks and Phyllis Brownlee won first in A and B. Betty Spalsbury and Albert Ballard won second in A and B and first in C. Earl Core and Mike Lee won third in B and second in C.

Donna Johnson and Jim Masilamani led the East-West pairs, winning first in A. Lois Clark and Jerry Sloan won second, and Sally Taylor and Shirlie Vaughn won third. Emily Foster and Sam Pierron won first in B and C, followed by Addie Nyquist and Russell LaForce who won second in both strata.
