Olathe ? The Lawrence Raiders rebounded from their first loss with a doubleheader sweep, defeating Olathe South, 11-0 and 9-2, Tuesday night.

The Raiders won the first game in five innings because of the run rule. Free State High’s John Sneegas pitched the entire shortened game, allowing two hits and striking out five. Fellow Firebird Scott Heitshusen went 3-for-3 from the plate with two RBIs. Lawrence High’s John Novoty also added 2 RBIs.

LHS’ Darren Parker improved to 2-0 with a win in game two. FSHS’ Lorenzo Ricketts was 3-for-3 at the plate.
