Oklahoma evens series with Rice

? Jackson Williams and Ryan Rohlinger helped Oklahoma rally from a four-run deficit Sunday to defeat Rice, 11-5, and even their best-of-three NCAA Super Regional series.

Rohlinger went 3-for-4 with two RBIs and scored two runs.

Williams went 2-for-4 with two RBIs and scored two runs.

The Owls (54-11) and Sooners (44-22) will meet today, with the winner going to the College World Series in Omaha, Neb.

Kenny Ford homered in the third for Rice. He had a two-run double, and Tyler Henley added an RBI double in the fourth to give Rice a 5-1 lead.

But the Sooners responded with five runs in the bottom of the fourth to take a 6-5 lead and added four in the seventh.

Daniel McCutchen (10-8) allowed five runs and seven hits through the first four innings before retiring the next 14 batters and pitching shutout ball over the final five innings. Bobby Bramhall (4-2) took the loss in relief.

In other super regional games, Georgia evened its series with South Carolina with an 11-5 victory; Miami beat Mississippi, 7-0, to even that series; and Oregon State-won, 15-0, to win its series with Stanford, 2-0.
