Fishing report
Clinton Lake

Water 1.49 feet above normal and 75 degrees. Temperature 64 degrees. Walleye good drifting jig and nightcrawler around Clinton Point area. Many small walleye being caught. White bass and wiper fair vertically jigging Clinton Point area. Channel catfish fair using stinkbait, minnows and chicken liver in lake. Crappie fair. Fishing has slowed. Most being caught on jigs and minnows over rocky areas.
Perry Lake

Channel catfish good. Fish are moving into rocks to spawn. Use anything under a bobber in rip-rap. Sauger fair off rocky points on crankbaints or twisters. A few seen in Rock Creek area. White bass fair off rocky points using twisters or shad colored crankbaits. White crappie fair to good on tube jigs and minnows at 4-10 feet around structure.
Lone Star Lake

Largemouth bass good on grubs, crankbaits and spinnerbaits. Channel catfish fair using stinkbait and minnows. Bluegill good using worms under bobber and on small jigs. A huge one-pounder was caught last week.
Douglas State Lake
(Updated 6-7)
Closed to fishing. Lake has been drained for repair of dam and water-intake line. Old fee bind was modified into a “fish hotel” this week. New habitat will be placed within next two weeks.
Leavenworth State Lake
(Updated 6-7)
Largemouth bass good using grubs, plastic worms and crankbaits. Channel catfish good using prepared baits, livers and nightcrawlers around feeders and piers. Feeders and aerator are operational.
Lake Shawnee
(Updated 6-7)
Channel catfish fair using nightcrawlers, shad entrails and liver. Wiper fair using jigs off points. Largemouth bass good on crankbaits, jigs and plastic worms.
Pomona Lake
(Updated 6-2)
Channel catfish good in discharge area using cut shad and prepared baits, and off windy points using prepared baits. Walleye fair off windy points and flats using jigs tipped with worm or minnows. White bass/wiper good in the flats with large minnows, or trolling shad and jigs. Crappie good close to bank using jigs or minnows, especially at night, but fish are moving back out. Note: Fish feeders are on.
