Fullerton, Calif. ? After spotting Missouri University an early run, the Cal State Fullerton baseball team pushed across all of its runs in its final three turns at the plate to secure a 7-1 victory in the opening game of the best-of-three NCAA super regional at Goodwin Field.

Wes Roemer (13-1) threw eight solid innings for the Titans (47-13) to earn the victory.

Max Scherzer (7-3) suffered the loss for the Tigers (35-27).
