Lawrence Memorial Hospital’s Hearts of Gold Ball raised at least $100,000 for emergency room renovations at Lawrence Memorial Hospital.

More than 200 volunteers helped plan the black-tie event, which was May 6 at the Wakarusa Corporate Centre near 18th Street and Wakarusa Drive.

The evening included silent and live auctions, dinner and dancing.
