University Bridge Club announces the winners of its June 3 game. Hosts were John and Jane Golden, Willie Stoltenberg and Mary Jo Spotts.

Blue winners were Virginia Williams, first; Jean Khataib, second; John Golden, third; Paul Jordan, fourth; and Ray Ikenberry, fifth.

Pink winners were Florence McNicoll, first; Carolyn Jordan, second; Myrna Ikenberry, third; Gladys Dight, fourth; and Bebe Huxtable, fifth.

¢ The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Howell movement at six tables. The May 24 game was directed by Virginia Seaver. Lois Clark and Cathy Blumenfeld won first in A, B and C, followed by Virginia Eddy and Phyllis Brownlee who won second in A and B. Klee Zaricky and Betty Collier won third in B and C. Bobby Patton and Elle Patton won second in C.

On May 31, the Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at nine tables directed by Virginia Seaver. Playing North-South, Julia Brooks and Chris Lane won first in A, followed by Virginia Seaver and Madelyn Jenks who won second. Suzanne Wassmer and Wanda Durbin placed third in A. Bobby Patton and Elle Patton won first in B and C. Phyllis Brownlee and Alice Leitch won second in B, and Harriett Olson and Barbara Figgins won second in C.

At East-West, Cathy Blumenfeld and Lois Clark won first in A, B and C. Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro won second in A, and Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges won third. Shirley Reese and Shirlie Vaughn won second in B, and Carol Ball and Mona Bell won second in C and third in B.

Shari Krentzel and Charlie Vaughn won first in A, followed by Bobby and Elle Patton who won first in B and second in A. Albert Ballard and Emily Foster won second in B and third in A.

On May 31, the Wednesday Evening Bridge Club played a stratified Howell movement at five tables directed by Don Brennaman. Jeane Landry and Jo Andersen won first in A. Bobby Patton and Ilse Steinhardt won second in A and first in B and C. Ed Howard and Elle Patton won third in A. Harry Talley and Don Daugherty won second in B and C, followed by Albert Ballard and Emily Foster who won third in both strata.

¢ The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club played nine tables in a stratified Mitchell movement May 26. The game was directed by Don Brennaman. Clyde Romer and Kent McCullough won first in A playing North-South and Virginia Seaver and Charlie Vaughn won second. Lois Clark and Harry Shaffer won third. First in B and C was won by Janice Hollowell and Bob Dailey. Lynn Hui and Cathy Blumenfeld won second in B and C.

On June 2, the Friday Afternoon Bridge Club played nine tables in a stratified Mitchell movement directed by Don Brennaman. Playing North-South, Carol Ball and Chris Lane won first in A, followed by Harry Shaffer and Lynn Hui who won second. Clyde Romer and Kent McCullough placed third in A. Cathy Blumenfeld and Lois Clark won first in B and C, and Janice Hollowell and Bob Dailey won second in B and C.

Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro led the East-West pairs, winning first in A. Betty Collier and Shirley Reese won second in A and first in B, and Madelyn Jenks and Mona Bell won third in A and second in B. Harry Talley and Don Daugherty won first in C.

¢ On May 29, the Monday Evening Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at nine and a half tables directed by Virginia Seaver. At North-South, Ed Howard and Harry Shaffer won first in A and Clyde Romer and Steve Phelps won second. Lois Jones and Marilyn Hardesty won third in A. Earl Core and Mike Lee won first in B and C, and Phyllis Brownlee and Madelyn Jenks won second in B. Betty Spalsbury and Albert Ballard won second in C.

Jeane Landry and Lynn Hui won first in A playing East-West. Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro won second, followed by Lois Clark and Yvonne Hedges who won third. Cathy and Mike Blumenfeld won first in B and C, and Bobby and Elle Patton won second.

The Monday Evening Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at 11 tables. The June 5 game was directed by Virginia Seaver. At North-South, Cathy Blumenfeld and Harry Shaffer won first in A, and Virginia Seaver and Julia Brooks won second. Jeane Landry and Lynn Hui won third. Pat Burgstahler and Martie Hartman won first in B and C, and Alice Leitch and Barbara McCorkle won second in both strata.

Eldon Herd and Jerry Sloan led the East-West pairs by winning first in A. John Hickey and Jim Kelley won second in A, and Yvonne Hedges and Lois Clark won third. Shirlie Vaughn and Chuck Hedges won first in B. Emily Foster and Sam Pierron won first in C and second in B, followed by Harriett Olson and Bobby Patton who won second in C.
