Overland Park ? After an inning and a half and two 15-minute rain delays, the Mo-Kan All-Star Softball Series was postponed until Thursday.

The Kansas All-Stars had a 1-0 lead after one from an RBI by Lawrence High’s Drew Huff. Moments after Olathe East’s Alex Hupp struck out the first three batters in the top of the second, lightning struck off the horizon and prompted a delay.

The field crew started clearing up the infield when a wave of rain came through and washed out the series.

The first game will start at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Blue Valley Athletics Complex.
