Injury Accident

¢ A Hutchinson man was injured late Friday night when his vehicle rolled off the road and stopped on a telephone pole near Pleasant Grove.

According to a report from the Kansas Highway Patrol, Edward Shipp, 36, lost control of his 1989 Honda Accord while driving north. He eventually rolled into the west ditch before his vehicle stopped.

He was taken to Lawrence Memorial Hospital, where a nursing supervisor said he was treated and released.

Burglaries and thefts reported

¢ Someone took a coin-operated air compressor, valued at $1,900, from in front of Stout’s Corner convenience store in Linwood sometime between May 20 and May 30, according to a Leavenworth County Sheriff’s office report.
