Chicago Board of Trade
Soybean futures declined Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grain futures finished mostly lower. Wheat for July delivery fell 18 1/2 cents to $3.93 1/2 a bushel; July corn fell 3 1/4 cents to $2.51 1/4 a bushel; July oats rose 1 3/4 cent to $1.82 a bushel; July soybeans fell 4 cents to $5.79 1/2 a bushel. Beef futures retreated on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while pork futures finished mixed. June live cattle fell .35 cent to 79.70 cents a pound; August feeder cattle fell .30 cent to $1.0912 a pound; June lean hogs rose .37 cent to 68.07 cents a pound; July pork bellies fell .17 cent to 80.60 cents a pound.
