Chicago Board of Trade
Soybean futures retreated Wednesday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grain futures finished mostly lower. Wheat for September delivery fell 11 1/4 cents to $3.82 a bushel; September corn fell 3 1/2 cents to $2.36 a bushel; September oats rose 1/2 cent to $1.95 1/2 a bushel; August soybeans fell 3 1/2 cents to $5.81 3/4 a bushel. Beef and pork futures increased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. August live cattle rose 1.77 cent to 84.27 cents a pound; August feeder cattle rose 1.15 cent to $1.1452 a pound; August lean hogs rose .18 cent to 67.10 cents a pound.
