Baldwin ? Mack Brown, a former All-Sunflower League quarterback at Shawnee Mission North, has transferred to Baker University from Colorado U.

Brown, a 6-foot-3, 205-pounder, sat out the 2005 season as a freshman red-shirt in Boulder, Colo.

“He’s an NCAA Div. I type quarterback who will have four years to develop with us,” Baker coach Mike Grossner said. “He has an opportunity to battle for a starting position right away.”

Brown holds the SM North record for career passing yards (4,805), TD passes (48), completions (309) and attempts (515).
