Chicago Board of Trade

Grain and soybean futures dropped lower Monday on the Chicago Board of Trade. Wheat for September delivery fell 4 1/2 cents to $3.93 a bushel; September corn fell 9 cents to $2.51 3/4 a bushel; September oats fell 5 1/4 cents to $1.97 1/2 a bushel; August soybeans fell 13 cents to $5.90 a bushel. Beef futures retreated on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while pork futures finished mixed. August live cattle fell 1.07 cent to 82.92 cents a pound; August feeder cattle fell .87 cent to $1.1335 a pound; August lean hogs rose .47 cent to 68.42 cents a pound; August pork bellies fell 1.75 cent to 92.90 cents a pound.
