Air Force Cadet JonDavid Hertzel has graduated from the U.S. Air Force Academy in Colorado Springs, Colo. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in military history and was commissioned as a second lieutenant.

Hertzel is scheduled to attend undergraduate pilot training at Vance Air Force Base in Enid, Okla.

The 2002 graduate of Free State High School is the son of David and Camille Hertzel, Baldwin.
