At North-South, Phyllis Brownlee and Lester Dalton won first in A and B, and Virginia Seaver and Madelyn Jenks won second in A. Patt Radford and Chuck Hedges won third in A. Grant Sutton and Harry Shaffer won second in B, and Hariett Olson and Linda Heavin won first in C.

Shirley Reese and Shirlie Vaughn won first in A, B and C playing East-West. Yvonne Hedges and Sally Taylor won second in A and B, and Sally Davis and Julia Brooks won third in A. Doris Stubeck and Cathy Blumenfeld won third in B and second in C.

On July 5, the club played a stratified Mitchell movement at six and a half tables directed by Virginia Seaver. At North-South, Eldon Herd and Shirlie Vaughn won first in A and B. Virginia Seaver and Madelyn Jenks won second in A, and Harry Shaffer and Grant Sutton won second in B. Betty Spalsbury and Florine Creek won first in C.

Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro led the East-West players by winning first in A. Cathy Blumenfeld and Lois Clark won first in B and C and second in A. Mona Bell and Julia Brooks won third in A. Bebe Huxtable and Wanna Roszel won second in C.

Jeff Nash and Lois Jones won second in A, and Clyde Romer and Kent McCullough won third. Earl Core and Mike Lee won first in C and second in B; Fran Vogel and Barbara McCorkle won second in C and third in B.

David and Liz Rhea won first in A playing East-West. Emily Foster and Harriett Olson won first in B and C and second in A, followed by John Hickey and Jim Kelley who won third in A. Harry Talley and Don Daugherty won second in B and C.
