¢ Kanwaka Family and Community Education unit will meet at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the home of Mary Ann Strong. Beverly Bourque will give the lesson, “End of Life.”

¢ India Family and Community Education unit will meet at 1:15 p.m. Thursday at the home of Norma Leary. She will give the lesson, “Exploring Kansas History.”

¢ The Four Leaf Clover 4-H Club met June 12 at the Douglas County 4-H Fairgrounds. Jessica Gibler, president, called the meeting to order. Roll call was answered by “I can name 100 : .”

The club participated in Relay for Life on June 9-10 and met its fundraising goal. Club members and parents were invited to meet Emily Morehouse, new Douglas County 4-H agent, at a reception June 19. A club mini-fair will be July 23. The Kansas Youth Leadership Forum for youths ages 14-18 will be Nov. 17-19 at Rock Springs 4-H Center. Members were asked to consider attending the statewide event. A group rocketry project talk was given.

The next meeting will be at 7:15 p.m. Monday in Building 1 at the fairgrounds.
