Minneapolis The Minnesota Twins optioned right-handed starter Boof Bonser to Triple-A Rochester on Wednesday, less than 24 hours after he was roughed up in a loss to the Kansas City Royals that ended the Twins' 11-game winning streak.
Bonser went 2-2 with a 5.30 earned-run average in seven starts after being recalled May 19 to replace Kyle Lohse in the rotation.
