¢University Bridge Club announced winners of its Jan. 21 game. Hosts were Paul and Carolyn Jordan, and John and Jane Golden.

Blue winners were Gladys Dight, first; Alice Akin, second; Carl Schaake, third; John Golden, fourth; and Paul Jordan, fifth.

Pink winners were Wanda Kring, first; Myrna Ikenberry, second; Dianne Sisk, third; Carol Smith, fourth; and Carolyn Harding, fifth.

¢The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club on Jan. 18 played a stratified Mitchell movement at nine tables directed by Virginia Seaver. Mona Bell and Chris Lane won at North-South, placing first in A. Linda Heavin and Harriet Olson won second in A and first in B and C. Marge Hitchcock and Ginny Johnston won third in A and second in B and C.

Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro won first in A, playing East-West. Shirlie Vaughn and Sidney Sutton won first in B and second in A, followed by Carol Ball and Nita Scales who won first in C, second in B and third in A. Florine Creek and Frances Vogel won second in C and third in B.

¢The Wednesday Evening Bridge Club played a Howell movement on Jan. 18 at four and a half tables directed by Don Brennaman. Harry Talley and Don Daugherty won first; Mike Lee and Pat Musick won second and Barbara and Bill Hamilton won third.

¢The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club’s Jan. 20 game was directed by Don Brennaman. Seven tables played a stratified Mitchell movement. At North-South, Lynn Hui and Harry Shaffer won first in A, followed by Larry Bodle and Kent McCullough in second. Fiona Rochell and Gladys Rivard won third in A and first in B and C. Harry Talley and Don Daugherty won second in B and C.

Playing East-West, Cathy and Mike Blumenfeld won first in A, B and C and Wanna Roszel and Bebe Huxtable won second in all three strata. Klee Zaricky and Virginia Seaver were third in A, followed by James Zhang and Lois Clark who won third in B and C and fourth in A.

¢The Monday Evening Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at 10 and a half tables directed by Virginia Seaver. Playing North-South, Phyllis Brownlee and Virginia Seaver won first in A, followed by Jerry Sloan and Jeff Nash who won second in A. Julia and Lester Dalton placed third in A. Harry Talley and Don Daugherty won first in B and C, and Mike Lee and Pat Musick won second in B and C.

Peter Petillo and Dave Piro won first among East-West players, placing first in A. Paul Heitzman and Donna Johnson won second in A and Terry Tolar and Lynn Hui won third in A and first in B. Mike and Cathy Blumenfeld won first in C and second in B and Mona Bell and Carol Ball won second in C and third in B.
