Police are investigating a Lawrence man’s report that he was robbed at gunpoint Monday afternoon inside an Old West Lawrence home.

The man told police that shortly before 2 p.m. two men came into the home in the 700 block of Alabama Street, restrained him, threatened to kill him and showed a handgun. They left with $20 and his Sony PlayStation, according to a report.

A police report said the victim was an acquaintance of one of the suspects but didn’t indicate how they knew each other.

Sgt. Dan Ward, a Lawrence Police spokesman, said the case had been referred to detectives.
