The new book, by Lawrence resident Rex Hamilton, with his wife, Cathy, pays homage to women in words with which men can identify.

For example: “I love you more than my tools.”

“You feel better in my hands than my best cordless screwdriver,” the book explains. “You ain’t broke, so I never have to fix you. And when you need recharging, all I have to do is leave you alone.”

Or: “I love you more than fishing.”
