Watkins Museum plans Groundhog Day event

Watkins Community Museum of History will celebrate Groundhog Day on Feb. 1 with activities for children.

Children ages 6 to 9 will learn about groundhogs from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at the museum, 1047 Mass. They will make puppets and their own shadows.

There will be a fee of $10 per child for non-members of the Douglas County Historical Society, $8 for members and $9 for members of the Boys & Girls Club and Big Brothers and Big Sisters of Douglas County.
