U.S. Rep. Dennis Moore, D-Kan., will be the featured speaker at Kansas University’s All Multicultural Scholars Program, set for 5:15 p.m. Tuesday at the Dole Institute of Politics on KU’s west campus.

Moore, who represents the third district, which includes KU’s Lawrence campus, will deliver a speech titled “Balancing budgets and values: Leadership in 2006.”

At the event, directors of KU’s nine Multicultural Scholars Programs will make brief remarks about their respective programs. Following Moore’s speech, a meal will be served, and the Multicultural Scholars will attend a performance of “Tap Dogs” at the Lied Center.
