No longer stars

To the editor:

Sorry, Chris, (Chris Turpin, Public Forum, Jan. 19), but after the loss to Mizzou and reading your letter, I have to write this one.

In my humble opinion, it ain’t Bill Self. Kansas University supposedly had one of the greatest freshmen classes available. Now, except for spurts of glory, they aren’t appreciated too much. It appears to me that bunch of freshmen still think they’re great stars in high school and haven’t accepted the fact that they are part of a team, a great team with a great tradition. They just aren’t putting out the effort.

Take a look at the coaches on the sideline; they’re really surprised and disappointed at what’s happening on the court, not to mention the seniors!

It’s time these freshmen woke up! They ain’t great stars in the high school anymore; they’re disappointments on the court of a college team with a great tradition they’re not upholding!
