K.C.’s Johnson gets top nod

— New Chiefs coach Herm Edwards has told running back Larry Johnson he'd go into training camp as the starter over Priest Holmes. Johnson, 26, ran for 100 yards in each of the nine games after Holmes suffered a season-ending neck injury. Johnson finished with 1,750 yards and 20 touchdowns, receiving his first Pro Bowl berth.
