Five months after Newell Rubbermaid Inc. said it planned to sell its Winfield plant and laid off 200 workers, the company has replaced the “for sale” sign with a “help wanted” sign.

Plant officials said the Atlanta-based company decided last month not to sell the Winfield facility and has rehired about half the employees who were laid off as it boosts production of insulated coolers and other storage products.
