Brewers sign Capuano to one-year contract
Milwaukee ? Left-hander Chris Capuano, coming off a career-best 18-12 season, signed a one-year contract Friday with the Milwaukee Brewers.
The 27-year-old Capuano, who led the major leagues in 2005 with 12 pickoffs, set career highs in wins, games started (35), strikeouts (176) and earned-run average (3.99).
The Brewers also signed 27-year-old right-hander Mike Adams to a one-year deal. He went 0-1 with a 2.70 ERA for the Brewers last year.
