At least a 25 percent increase in the Kansas University student fee would be necessary to comply with a state Senate committee’s request to make fees more in line with the cost of providing a college education. So said Keith Nitcher, university director of business affairs.

The Journal-World learned that the new dean of KU’s School of Architecture and Design would be Max Lucas, formerly university director of facilities planning and currently a professor in the school here.
