Breast-feeding bill goes to Sebelius

? A signature from Gov. Kathleen Sebelius is all that is needed to put into law the right of women to breast-feed their babies in public.

Without debate the House approved, 119-4, legislation that says a woman can breast-feed anywhere she has a right to be. It also will excuse women who are breast-feeding from jury duty.

The measure was approved unanimously last week in the Senate.

Sebelius has said she hasn’t seen the details of the bill but that she is a strong supporter of breast-feeding.
