What he did: Altman rolled two high series as the Firebirds picked up three team victories last week. His 613 series Tuesday helped Free State knock off Topeka and Olathe South, while his 629 series was the driving force in Thursday’s victory over Lawrence High.

Molly Thurman, Seabury Academy, Jr – Girls basketball

What she did: Thurman averaged 13.5 points and eight rebounds last week as the Seahawks split two games. She scored 10 Tuesday in a 51-28 loss to Wetmore and followed with a season-high 17 points and 10 rebounds in Friday’s 46-18 victory over Heritage Christian.
