A store within the Lawrence Community Shelter, 214 W. 10th St., is seeking donations of snacks, clothing and toiletries.

The items are bought with points – called drop-in dollars – that shelter users earn by performing chores. Needed items include men’s and women’s underwear and socks, sleeping bags, tarps, flashlights, umbrellas, rainwear, backpacks, pens, paper, combs, brushes, shaving cream, razors, soap and shampoo.
