Sunflower Kids Wrestling posted impressive showings at both the Border War held in Parkville, Mo., on Saturday and the Baldwin Bulldog Brawl held on Sunday. Sunflower posted 31 wins on the weekend.

Winning Championships for Sunflower were Levi Flohrschutz and Josh Hanson. Hunter Haralson, Lucas Ingraham, Caleb Torneden and Jack Strange finished second; Alan Clothier, Chase Russell, Koty Russell, and Nick Pursel finished in third place; Dustin Walthal and Evan Clothier finished the weekend in fourth place. Also competing on the weekend were Caden Lynch, Creighton Platt and Trevor Rine.

The highlight of the Border War was Flohrschutz, who went 4-0 with two pins and two technical falls en route to a championship day in which not one point was scored against him.

Next up for Sunflower Kids Wrestling is the Topeka Tornado Invitational meet at Highland Park High school in Topeka on Feb. 18.
