The body of a Lawrence man was recovered after the light plane he was piloting hit an electrical power line and crashed into the Kansas River north of Lawrence. The victim was Douglas Potter, son of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Potter of Lawrence. The son had attended Kansas University where he was a junior majoring in business. The cause of the crash was not immediately determined.
