Engineering Expo set for Feb. 24 and 25

Registration is under way for the annual Engineering Expo at the Kansas University School of Engineering. The event is set for Feb. 24 and 25.

The expo is an annual open house that lets people experience engineering through hands-on exhibits, demonstrations and contests. This year’s theme is “Extreme Engineering.”

KU electrical engineering alumnus Sam Gilliland, the expo’s keynote speaker, will give a presentation at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 24 in the Lied Center. Gilliland is chairman and chief executive officer of Sabre Holdings, the parent company of Travelocity.
