Lech Walesa, the Solidarity movement founder who later became president of Poland, will return to Kansas this spring.

Walesa, who spoke in September at Kansas University, will speak April 13 at Kansas State University in Manhattan.

His appearance will be the final one for the current academic year in the university’s lecture series named for former Kansas Gov. Alf Landon.
