A dusting of snow — just enough to make city streets and sidewalks slick — fell throughout Lawrence this morning. The National Weather Service says Lawrence could see more scattered snow showers this morning, with a slight chance of flurries this afternoon. Temperatures will climb into the low 30s today, with blustery winds.

At 9:20 a.m., the temperature at Lawrence Municipal Airport was 24 degrees, the humidity was 81 percent and winds were from the northwest at 12 mph, making the windchill 13 degrees.

Today’s high will be be 31 degrees this afternoon, with winds from the northwest at 15 to 25 mph, according to 6News meteorologists.

Sunday’s morning low will be 14 degrees, with Sunday’s high climbing to 36 degrees under mostly sunny skies.

Monday will be more of rollercoaster ride for the temperatures, first plunging to 16 degrees early Monday morning then soaring up to 52 degrees on Monday afternoon, with mostly sunny skies.
