Fourth provost candidate vists KU

Karen L. Gould, dean of the McMicken College of Arts and Sciences at the University of Cincinnati, is the fourth of four finalists for Kansas University’s provost and executive vice chancellor position.

Gould, a professor of French and Francophone studies, is vying for the position currently held by David Shulenburger, who is stepping down from the post later this year.

Gould will give a public presentation from 4 to 5 p.m. Thursday at the Dole Institute of Politics, which will be followed by a public reception.

More information about the search and the other three finalists is posted online at www.ku.edu/~oirp/ProvostSearch/.
