Chicago Board of Trade

Soybean futures advanced Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while grain futures finished mixed.

Wheat for March delivery fell 2 3/4 cents to $5.04 1/4 a bushel; March corn rose 1 3/4 cent to $3.88 1/2 a bushel; March oats rose 1 1/2 cent to $2.77 3/4 a bushel; January soybeans rose 6 1/4 cents to $6.75 3/4 a bushel.

Beef futures increased on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, while pork futures were mixed.

February live cattle rose .47 cent to 92.55 cents a pound; January feeder cattle rose .55 cent to 99.30 cents a pound; February lean hogs fell .42 cent to 62.05 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose .42 cent to 92.95 cents a pound.
