Lawrence writer Tom Mach – author of “Sissy!” and “All Parts Together” – has released a poetry book.

Inspired by reading Walt Whitman’s epic poem “Leaves of Grass,” Mach has penned a book-length work called “The Uni Verse: A Poem Exploring the Wonders of It All.”

Some of Mach’s shorter poems have appeared in the Journal-World’s Poet’s Showcase. He is a member of the Kansas Authors Club, the Kansas Writers Association and the California Writers Club.
