Independance, Mo. ? A memorial service for Kansas City Chiefs founder Lamar Hunt was set for Tuesday in this Kansas City suburb.

The memorial service, open to the public, will be at 2:30 p.m. at the Community of Christ Auditorium. The doors will open at 12:30 p.m.

Hunt died Wednesday at a Dallas hospital following a lengthy battle with prostate cancer.

He was 74.

A public memorial service in Dallas was set for 1 p.m. today at Moody Coliseum on the campus of Southern Methodist University.
