A proposed $6.9 million general obligation bond issue for construction of city facilities, including a new city hall, library and convention center, fire stations and airport improvements, was presented by city officials to a citizens study group. the total cost would be $8.1 million with the difference to come from “outside sources” such as the federal government, according to City Manager Ray Wells.
