Summit designed for researchers

Kansas University plans a research summit Jan. 16 at Wescoe Hall.

The summit, which aims to foster a conversation about research, is open to researchers in all disciplines, including graduate and postdoctoral students.

Preliminary topics include how to balance research and other academic responsibilities, the undergraduate research experience, KU’s restricted research policy and practices, bicampus research and industrial funding of research.

The free summit is patterned after KU’s annual teaching summit, which takes place the week before the start of fall classes.
