University Bridge Club announces results of its Dec. 2 meeting. Hosts were Carolyn and Dan Harden with Leo and Mona Langlois.

Blue winners were Paul Jordan, first; George Bocquin, second; John Golden, third; Karmie Galle, fourth; and Leo Langlois and Dan Harden, fifth.

Pink winners were Florence McNicoll, first; Cathy Waller, second; Carol Smith, third; Lois Liebert, fourth; and Carolyn Harden and Mona Langlois, fifth.

The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at seven tables directed by Virginia Seaver on Nov. 29. Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges won first in A and B playing North-South. Virginia Eddy and Phyllis Brownlee placed second in A and B and first in C. Virginia Seaver and Madelyn Jenks won third in A, and Shari Krentzel and Carol Ball won third in B and second in C.

At East-West, Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro won first in A. Chuck Hedges and Eldon Herd won second in A and first in B, followed by Elle Patton and Ed Howard who won third in A. Nita Scales and Mona Bell placed first in C and second in B. Lois Clark and Mark Osborn were third in B and second in C.

The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Howell movement at six and a half tables directed by Don Brennaman on Dec. 1. Lynn Hui and Harry Shaffer won first in A and B, followed by Bill Hamilton and Mark Osborn who won second in A and B. Cathy Blumenfeld and Lois Clark won first in C and third in A and B. Nita Scales and Carol Ball won second in C.

The Monday Evening Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at six and a half tables directed by Virginia Seaver on Dec. 4. Phyllis Brownlee and Madelyn Jenks led the North-South teams, winning first in A and B. Harry Shaffer and Terry Tolar won second in A, and Virginia Seaver and Julia Brooks won third. Betty Spalsbury and Al Ballard won second in B and first in C. Pete Petillo and Dave Piro won first in A playing East-West, and Donna Johnson and Paul Heitzman won second. Eldon Herd and Jerry Sloan won third in A. Jo Andersen and Pat Musick won first in B and C, followed by Dorothy Netson and Barbara Merriam who won second in both strata.
