Challenge Champs: Lawrence’s Stan Skwarlo III, Logan Sloan, Kyle Morgison, Tom Kreissler, Brian Daldorph, Ava Dinges, Cynthia Mast, Erin Gonzales, Shannon O’Lear, Eileen Huffman and Lori Lange were age-group winners in the five-mile portion of Sunday’s Clinton Lake Cross Country Challenge 5K. In the 2K, Kreissler was the men’s overall winner and Sarah Sinning the overall women’s winner.

KU Women’s Clinic: Kansas University’s women’s basketball team will conduct its annual Holiday Hoops Clinic at noon New Year’s Day in Allen Fieldhouse. Youths in grades K-8 are welcome. The cost of $15 per youth and $20 for youth and adult includes a gift and a ticket to an upcoming game.
