Snow disrupts Seabury

Seabury Academy’s season-opening, four-school, round-robin boys and girls basketball tournament is in limbo because of the snowy weather.

Thursday’s scheduled games between Seabury and Kansas School for the Deaf and contests between Williamsburg and Burlingame were scrapped.

The Seabury-KSD boys and girls games will not be made up, Seabury athletic director Brian Clyne said.

Today’s scheduled games between the Seahawks and Burlingame and Saturday’s scheduled contests with Williamsburg are up in the air.

Clyne said he would make a decision this morning about when and if the tourney would resume.

Also, Thursday’s swim meet at Free State High was postponed. The meet was supposed to feature Free State, Leavenworth, Blue Valley and SM South.

The meet will be tentatively rescheduled for Dec. 14.
