Waterline break closes East Heights program
A waterline on the campus of East Heights Early Childhood Center, 1430 Haskell Ave., burst Sunday afternoon, forcing the cancellation of classes there today.
School officials said the break occurred in the school’s main line leading in from Haskell Avenue around 3 p.m. Sunday. Because of the weather, crews couldn’t repair the line until at least today.
The break may have occurred in part because of the weather, school officials said.
An update on Tuesday’s classes will be made available today.
