Douglas County Family and Community Education Council will sponsor a trip Oct. 10-12 to Springfield, Ill., and Hannibal, Mo. The trip will include a tour of the old State Capitol, Lincoln’s home, the Lincoln Tomb and Lincoln’s New Salem Village in Springfield, Ill., and a tour of Mark Twain’s home and museum in Hannibal.
