University Bridge Club announces the winners of its Aug. 19 game. Hosts were Lois Liebert, Virginia Williams and Myrna and Ray Ikenberry.

Blue winners were Karmie Galle, Harold Riehm, Ray Ikenberry, John Golden and George Bocquin.

Pink winners were Dottie Miller, Aileen Bocquin, Wanda Kring, Gladys Dight and Jane Golden.

The Wednesday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at eight tables. The Aug. 16 game was directed by Chris Lane. Phyllis Brownlee and Suzanne Wassmer placed first among the North-South pairs in A, B and C. Mona Bell and Chris Lane won second in A and B, followed by Wanda Durbin and Julia Brooks who won third. Harriett Olson and Chuck Hedges won second in C.

Playing East-West, Lois Clark and Shirley Reese won first in A and B, followed by Dave Piro and Paul Heitzman who won second in A and Sally Taylor and Yvonne Hedges who won third in A and second in B. Shari Krentzel and Judy Bevan won first in C, and Cathy Blumenfeld and Doris Stubeck won second in C.

The Wednesday Evening Bridge Club played a stratified Howell movement at three and half tables. The Aug. 16 game was directed by Don Brennaman. Grant Sutton and Sam Pierron won first in A and B, followed by Shari Krentzel and Deb Bettinger who won second in both strata. Don Daugherty and Harry Talley won third.

The Friday Afternoon Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement on Aug. 18 at seven tables directed by Don Brennaman. Lynn Hui and Harry Shaffer won first in A and B playing North-South. Clyde Romer and Kent McCullough won second in both strata and Lester Dalton and Shirlie Vaughn won third.

At East-West, Grant Sutton and Sam Pierron won first in A, B and C, followed by Betty Collier and Lois Clark who won second in all three strata. Paul Heitzman and Dave Piro won third in A. Bebe Huxtable and Clarice Broz won third in B and C.

The Monday Evening Bridge Club played a stratified Mitchell movement at 10 and a half tables. The Aug. 21 game was directed by Chris Lane. Phyllis Brownlee and Madelyn Jenks led the North-South pairs winning first in A, B and C. Donna Johnson and Jim Masilamani won second in A, and Kent McCullough and Larry Bodle won second in B and third in A. Dorothy Netson and Barbara Merriam won third in B and second in C.

Larry Brock and Jim Mullins won first in A and B playing East-West, followed by Mona Bell and Julia Brooks who won second in both strata. Jeff Nash and Jeremy Martin were third in A and B. Lynn Hui and Grant Sutton won first in C.
