Chicago Board of Trade

Grain prices advanced Thursday on the Chicago Board of Trade, while soybeans edged lower.

Wheat for September delivery rose 9 1/2 cents to $3.75 1/2 a bushel.

Beef and pork futures advanced in trading on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange. September feeder cattle rose .17 cent to $1.1622 a pound; October lean hogs rose .25 cent to 66.42 cents a pound; February pork bellies rose 1.42 cent to 89.87 cents a pound.
