Lawrence broker joins commission
Marilyn Bittenbender, senior vice president, principal and broker for Grubb & Ellis/The Winbury Group in Lawrence, has been appointed to the Kansas Real Estate Commission.
Gov. Kathleen Sebelius recently appointed Bittenbender to a four-year term on the commission, which oversees licensing and education requirements for all new and renewing Kansas real estate salespersons and brokers, as well as reciprocal licensure with other states.
Bittenbender joined Grubb & Ellis/The Winbury Group in February 2001, when the Lawrence branch opened at 805 N.H.; she became a vice president in 2003, then senior vice president and principal in 2004.
